Motherhood is about selective memories

What I will choose to remember of this family holiday: whipping along in a taxi in Taroudant, squeezing my boy and whispering 'I am such a lucky person to be here in Morocco and with you'. Seb replies 'I am a lucky boy to be here'.

What I will edit out:
Me: 'Thanks for coming to Morocco and sharing all of this with me, Seb'.
Seb: 'You're welcome.'

He's not a MIND READER. You thanked him! He gave you a proper "You're welcome."

What I wouldn't give for a "you're welcome" some days....

My message reads more snarky than I intended. Darn written word. My apologies.
