It's just not that much fun to blog when one can't post photos and all one has to say revolves around how much vomit a 2 year old can produce at 2 in the morning.
After a lovely time in Ottawa this weekend, we dragged our way down Canada's biggest highway behind a snowplow and through hail/sleet. It was a 6 hour trip instead of 4ish and we tumbled into bed at 1.30 a.m. Well, some of us did because I had to finish a contract for this morning that just hadn't been signed, sealed and delivered over the holidays. So I was awake and plugging away at the computer when I heard the wretched sound of wretching. I knew that I was on borrowed time with Sophie's gut as she hasn't had a single tummy upset in her life (excluding reflux for the first weeks).
Poor Sophie went through 2 sets of pjs, 3 towels, 2 sheets, 2 pillowcases, one comforter and a new book that happened to be in bed ... Because of the late night, I hadn't bothered to separate the children after they had fallen asleep. Fortunately, Seb emerged unscathed and slept through it all (80 minutes).v
But Soph coped with the best of them - bewildered but smiley in between bouts. She wanted her facourite book and her baby Brad and she was fine. She still can't swill and spit but that will come.
This morning, she has no appetite but a good amount of energy. She still is smiley.

Oh, poor thing. I hope she's feeling better.
Perhaps, though, it's a good thing you can't post pictures right now.
Beause yuck, right?
