Our last week of summer vacation was spent - in part - camping with friends (and without our primary camper). We haven't done much of that and it turns out "the more, the merrier"! I barely noticed that my early morning coffee-maker dude wasn't there because Sebastian now knows how to put up a tent (thanks to last year's canoe trip), a friend helped me take it down, and another made coffee every morning. How fab was that!
We were at the lovely Pinery provincial park where the trees were tall, the sun shone, neighbours were respectful and Lake Huron was awesome. The lake had fabulously fun waves for junior body-surfing; its thin strip of beach is safe and sandy for digging and playing; and the fresh water meant that Seb's eczema didn't hurt.
