So if you spend a long weekend in New York, you say that you took a bite of the Big Apple.
What's the equivalent for London?
beautiful reflective maze at the Sensing Spaces exhibit at the Royal Academy |
scented bamboo reaching for the ceiling - reminded me (in a good way) of a scalp |
Mr reaching for the ceiling to add to the decor |
John Lewis's kitchen department comes through again |
Bit yellowy but two sets of carvings at the Tate Modern that left an impression on me. |
Couple of people asked if we ate well, and while we did have a couple of good meals, we realised that we eat as well (and more cheaply) in rural France or downtown Toronto, so when in London we want to focus our time and money on the performances (a dance performance centred in Mohamed Ali's life with Parkinson's anyone and / or the play Mojo?) and exhibitions that don't come to Toronto, let alone rural France!
