Grandparent Camp 2020 - part 2

And now it is Sophie's turn to be pampered and feted. She has to stay on her grandparents' property for the whole 9 days but the weather is fair and the spoiling great! In fact, after the first 1.5 days, she told me that she had already had 3 weeks worth of treats!

Our Boxing Day Feast

Our bird wasn't quite as big as the Nutcracker's but what a glorious meal.

The amazing mushroom and lentil Wellington

The numerous, delicious side dishes to choose from

The feast included a father-son staring contest - watched by a much amused Grandfather

And some relaxation by all

What a wonderful trip out East!

So after 7 years, it was time for the whole family to head to New Brunswick. Seb was already there for sailing camp. And Sophie had preferred to fly there sooner than her parents, thank you very much.
So the parents drove.
With dawg... who very much wanted to come and eat with us on that patio.
This is where we camped. No, not in the building but in front...

the exclamations marks get us every time!!
