Boys of summer

Our boys of summer are not doing so well in 2019. But it just don't feel like summer is complete without seeing them swing the bat, hearing the hawkers sell their beer, chanting with the crowd.

It sprinkled on us; they closed the roof; I was happy because I don't have to see the CN Tower loom over me. We lost.

Happy to be home

Sophie and I drove home from Kingston along the back roads yesterday, collecting farm produce and farmers market products along the way. So we started our Sunday all together with fresh sticky buns, and fruit and coffee in the backyard. Delightful!

Two weeks in le petit village

It was so hot the first days

I picked up this world traveller and rewarded her with madeleines.

We played lots of board and card games for two
We only had 1 market day!!

But a few meals with Jean

Sadly, there was much too much really stressful work...
