CDMX - you were great!

At the crack of dawn, we headed to Pearson (with a Vancouver-bound George, no less)
And probably because we were with George, we were soooo early!

Cuidad Mexico - This place made me laugh "Hospital for coffee pots". You can see a fellow repairing one.
We had coffee and hot chocolate over looking the magnificent Fine Arts palace

Slightly blurry sunset and old building snap - but you can sense how atmospheric it was

We were stuffed from street food but how could we say no to fresh churros and  our choice of Mexican, French or Spanish style hot chocolate! In a fabulous 24/7 establishment (El Moro) that has been open since the 1930s

Many Day of the Dead decorations were still up

embellished wafers as a snack in the park

We found a wonderful place for breakfast near our B&B

And though you would never know it, this was the scrumpdilli-umpish fresh fig flan at the most amazing fish restaurant that I have been to in years.

Poinsettias grow wild in Mexico (yes, I realise that they are potted here but we did see them grow from the ground too!)

We always find the neighbourhood market
and local craft beer.

Next blog post will be about the 3 museums we went to 3/150! We may need to go back...
