At the crack of dawn, we headed to Pearson (with a Vancouver-bound George, no less) |
And probably because we were with George, we were soooo early! |
Cuidad Mexico - This place made me laugh "Hospital for coffee pots". You can see a fellow repairing one. |
We had coffee and hot chocolate over looking the magnificent Fine Arts palace |
Slightly blurry sunset and old building snap - but you can sense how atmospheric it was |
Many Day of the Dead decorations were still up |
embellished wafers as a snack in the park |
We found a wonderful place for breakfast near our B&B |
And though you would never know it, this was the scrumpdilli-umpish fresh fig flan at the most amazing fish restaurant that I have been to in years. |
Poinsettias grow wild in Mexico (yes, I realise that they are potted here but we did see them grow from the ground too!) |
We always find the neighbourhood market |
and local craft beer. |
