Issigeac is wonderful and we have so many happy memories there and truly incredible neighbours (merci les voisins), but Toronto is definitely home at the moment. So after the mad scramble to launder clothes and towels and sheets, clean the house, empty the garbage/recycling/fridge, pack the bags, do last minute tasks (such as ensure that the outer wall of our crumbling ruin is propped up), say au revoir and get across the Atlantic via 3 days in Montreal - all with 2 kids with varying needs and temperaments - it's good to be home.
