Wednesday & Saturday treats

It is almost summertime! I have started to cycle to a local farmers' market on Saturdays and this week, Sophie joined me. It's not quite Issigeac but it's pretty nice and getting there includes a beautiful cycle along the lakeshore.

Dog has started to get his summer thirst (and will soon have his summer clip)
A real summer treat is picking up some of the weekly efforts of Centennial's culinary students on Wednesdays. In fact, I have made the class break long enough to get to the cafe and back! And Sophie has her favourite dishes that she requests!!

Getting to the essence of "iconic Sophie"

Hitting her stride

This grade 10 year has been good for Sophie. One might say she is hitting her stride. Doing a 5k in the rain and with a personal best of 27:02 - which means she could move up a category "next time."

(Oh and our sweet tooth loved the chocolate and energy bars that runners were given!)
