Our Trillium Spring
We have had just so many flowers over the past 6 weeks. It has helped us through a grim April and an improving May.
First up each and every year
And the first to be snowed on a few days later
Turns out that hyacinths cannot perfume the air under heavy snow
Our neighbouring divine magnolia - but the buds were fine
The first tulip full of frills
One that came inside when its stalk snapped
A gorgeous oil painting of flowers that a friend was sharing
Indoors, the orchid was going into full bloom
And this weekend we hit peak bloom for the tulips as all (9?) varieties were open at once
Jo & the High Park trilliums
But today came the sad news that our rose bush/tree in Issigeac was down...
