And.... we have lift off!

Sophie was in a VERY goofy mood on the UP. In her googles she was a mix of Amelia Earhart and an alien

Helping out his younger sister in the duty-free makeup section
He doesn't mind foundation but can't stand eyeliner, he told us
The goofiness continued in the lounge

even break-dancing on the airport floor in sunglasses...
and it continued on the plane - until I fell asleep on her and she was forced to sleep too

Taller than ever!
A fellow Torontonian that we bumped into outside Fort York

Cousins visit Toronto - part 2

It's always fun to bowl with family, even if a certain uncle is clearly a little on the competitive side...

Cousins visit Toronto - part 1

One of the most exciting parts of the summer has started. The BC cousins visit Toronto!!
It started with a grocery shop

a heaping 2 carts grocery shop if you were Sarah!

While Uncle Mike took his "nephlets" along the Lakeshore for some art work
So far, the visit has included a small celebration

for a fellow we all love enormously

George surrounded by his loving squad of grandkids

The grandchildren sporting their "East Coast Lifestyle" hoodies

We had a fun outing to the Bata Shoe Museum
Our resident wonder woman

No, she didn't move around much

Me and my gal
Addie wasn't convinced about high heels
But he gave it his best kick

Grandparent Camp - roundup

We were just two for 2 weeks and a day
There was a certain amount of this (which made our neighbour with 3 younger kids envious)
However, we did have to empty our own dishwasher - but didn't have to ask anyone 3 times...
As usual, there was a lot of sorting & culling of clothes, books and games

We ate well!
Tried my hand with a spiralizer - more to come!
Tackled some overdue chores
Including prepping and starting some paint jobs
And everyone cheerfully helped out!

But soon it was our last weekend, so we day-tripped to St Jacobs market for some goodies
