Sophie has been blessed with a wonderful teacher during her two years at the village school.
It seems to be a relationship full of mutual respect and affection. Mme Latour told me that as she filled out Sophie's report card last week, her eyes welled up with tears that our daughter has achieved so much and will be sorely missed.
