The Alcazar - royal palace of Seville - took our breath away. The historical events that took place with in its walls (financing Columbus' voyage to the Americas; first 'modern' map of the world, etc).
On entry, it doesn't seem so big and yet it just unfolds layer after layer, especial the gardens. Our photos don't do it justice; perhaps photos can't because this peaceful place is right in the centre of crowded medieval Seville. You have to
feel it.
