Seb and Jack are doing t-ball with the High Park league all spring and summer. It's a pretty intensive schedule with weekly practice and 1-2 games/week (or 4 this 8 days!!).
As you can see, he (and we) is clearly proud. By the colour of his face, it must be have meant great exertion on a hot day.

Coach Dave said he was giving the game ball to a Mariner who has improved a lot since the beginning of the season. He said this player
impressed him with his effort not only today but in every game, someone who when he's out in the field is hungry to try to get the ball, who hustles after it. Today he'd stopped a hard hit ball in the outfield with his body, got hurt a little but kept going, was diving after the ball as pitcher. So today, the game ball goes to ... Sebastian. And Jo, the smile that came over his face when it was announced - pure joy. (Part way thru the coach's explanation, one of the kids said "Sebastian" and he kind of looked like he wanted to hope it was him but knew it was inappropriate to get too excited too soon.)
