After opening yet more wonderful gifts and eating yet another yummy brunch, my love and I hosted our 15th New Year's Open House. I should add that it really felt like Seb hosted it too, as several of his friends came. Only Sophie missed out on hosting duties but she still had a great time with over 2 dozen people crowding in.
The man of the house out-did himself in the kitchen: 2 types of truffles, almond and cranberry biscotti, lemon-pomegranate cheesecake, 2 types of quiches, our annual addictive cheese & artichoke, AND mince pies for my Mum! All I made was Morroccan carrot salad - and set the table.
2011 was rather tumultuous at times; here's to a more calm year of renewal.
