It turned up on BoingBoing, originally as "source unknown". Sure enough the comments there provided another lead, to Sociological Images. That site "encourages people to exercise and develop their sociological imaginations with discussions of compelling visuals that span the breadth of sociological inquiry." There is a deconstruction of Disney princes as well.
