Yet another oldie but goodie (part 2)

Sooner rather than later the treasure trove of clothes that I wore as a child will be empty. But until then, enjoy the snaps and any trips down memory lane that they may take some of you on.



Here is our very own Little Red Riding Hood in a red wool cape complete with green patterned lining, black trim and snazzy silver buttons. Must date from 1968 or so if Roberta wore it. It even has the "Wedge" nametag still in it; ever so handy for daycare. Both her mum and dad received ever so many compliments and comments as we took her out and about yesterday.


Of course, she must, just must, also wear her big girl backpack.
And yes, she is wearing mitts. It is cooooooooooold outside.

Precious precious poppet. I can't believe you managed to hold onto old childhood clothes of yours over so many moves...or were they stored in someone else's closet? I love the new navy blue mary jane's too. Some things never go out of style.
