Sophie loves cake. We had a small bash for Sophie this afternoon. Just cakes and balloons with 8 adults and 7 children. It was good fun and not overwhelming (like we anticipate Sebastian's to be...). No presents but the birthday girl dressed up and looked smashing. One cake was the eggless/dairyfree standby (jazzed up with apricot jam) and the other was a divine caramel cheesecake from She Takes the Cake...
